Before a transaction closes, a partnership begins, or a significant sum moves — we research who you're dealing with from open and semi-open sources. The information is out there. We find it, structure it, and tell you what it means for the decision in front of you.
Databases and compliance checks confirm identity and look for obvious flags. They don't capture reputation, behavioral patterns, hidden affiliations, adverse media across languages, or what the subject's network says about them.
Corporate structures designed to obscure beneficial ownership. Undisclosed relationships with sanctioned parties, competitors, or conflicted intermediaries that formal databases won't surface.
Regulatory actions, litigation, fraud allegations, and reputational issues often appear first — or only — in local-language sources. Russian, Hebrew, and Eastern European media require dedicated coverage.
Inflated CVs, false board positions, exaggerated transaction histories, and phantom advisory roles are common in certain sectors and geographies — and readily verifiable through OSINT.
Signs of financial stress, unusual asset transfers, legal actions in progress, or associations with individuals with known fraud or criminal histories.
OSINT investigation is not due diligence theater. It is research conducted with a specific decision in mind — and structured to answer the question you actually need answered before proceeding.
Pre-investment founder and management team background, existing investor reputation, and adverse history not captured in standard legal and financial due diligence.
Asset location research, counterparty intelligence, adverse witness background, and judgment enforcement support — conducted to evidentiary standards.
M&A target management team assessment, key executive background, hidden liabilities, and reputational issues that affect transaction risk or post-close value.
Pre-relationship intelligence on business partners, advisors, or individuals seeking significant financial relationships — with no formal disclosure obligations on your side.
Each investigation is scoped to the specific intelligence question. We do not produce generic background reports. The research is structured around what you need to know to make the decision in front of you.
Not a data dump. Not a checkbox list. A report that tells you what the research found, what it means for the decision you're making, and what — if anything — warrants further investigation.
We establish the intelligence question — what decision are you making, what do you need to know, and what would change the decision? This shapes the entire research plan.
Systematic investigation across corporate registries, court records, news archives in multiple languages, social platforms, professional databases, and sanctions/PEP lists.
Cross-referencing the subject's identifiers against breach databases, dark web sources, and fraud-related forums for exposure, identity risk, or criminal network associations.
Raw findings are analyzed for significance, sourced, and structured into a report that answers the original intelligence question — rather than listing everything found.
Report is delivered securely. A debrief call is available to walk through findings and discuss anything the report raises that warrants deeper investigation or a different approach.

A PE firm was approached by a well-presented co-investor for a significant transaction. Standard legal due diligence returned clean. The co-investor's English-language materials were polished and references were positive.
OSINT investigation found Russian-language coverage of a regulatory enforcement action against a prior fund managed by the co-investor, which had resulted in investor losses and a civil settlement. The settlement documents, while not in English, were publicly filed. A corporate registry search in a second jurisdiction revealed a dissolved entity from five years prior with two directors named in a separate fraud investigation, one of whom appeared as a non-disclosed advisor to the current fund structure.
